Aspect: “Montana Can Point To The Answers” – Yves and Junpei have run aground each other in the past in pursuit of antiques and artifacts of interest to the Yakuza, oftentimes but not always in cooperation. Junpei has come to regard Yves as a reliable compass to navigate the affairs of the super-powered world’s secrets.
Aspect: Kidnapped by the Yakuza – Sometime after the events with Nate’s daughter, he was kidnapped by a Yakuza agent in order to treat the Oyabun of a gand, who was suffering from a rare illness. Before Nate could reach the Yakuza headquarters, a rival gang of Yakuza, led by Junpei, intercepted the agent’s group and a firefight occurred. Nate was then taken by Junpei. Junpei made it clear to him that they could have killed him, but did not, holding this over his head as a future source of blackmail. Nevertheless, he knows he can be quite useful to them.
Nate was injured in the process. In the car crash during the interception, his leg was injured and he now has a permanent limp. Opponents seem to often underestimate him because he appears unimposing.

Sylvia Cordero, a grad student that specializes in urban archeology helped [archeologist PC] research Blackmoore, a medieval themed villain, reputedly with a heart of gold, active from the mid 80’s through the mid 90’s.
